Looking to activate consumers online and drive traffic to their website, Petey’s Pizza launched an easy-to-use UGC contest. Not only did this show potential customers their expansive “Build Your Own Pizza” menu, but it drove users to their owned digital properties.
Using their real menu features, Petey’s Pizza gave users the ability to build and save their own recipe’s for submission in the contest. Users selected all of the ingredients in their perfect pizza, moving step-to-step through the promotion before submitting their recipe.
Extending the user experience Petey’s Pizza invited users to vote on the recipe that they think was the best. Users could scroll through the gallery of recipes and decide for themselves who they think should win. To engage even more users, voting wasn’t limited to users who submitted their own recipe – anyone can join in on the fun.
